Fellowship, Fun and Food
There was a good attendance at the annual summer picnic. A special thanks goes out to the Presbyterian Men for the fried chicken. Also thank you to Ernie and Kay Melton, Don and Pam Sweeney, Donna Williams, Sandy Hiss and Elward Hiss for all their help. Pictures of the picnic are posted on the bulletin board.

“A Special Thank You!”
Some people are speakers, writers, or do’ers. I classify myself as the latter but will attempt to be a writer. Special ladies in the church have really given a lot of help the past 4 weeks by providing pies, cakes, lots of salads for the Irish Stew Dinner, Lenten Luncheon, and two other dinners we have provided.
The ladies who worked in the kitchen and other areas have been tremendous. They have spent numerous hours on their feet making sure everything is ready to go at the right time. A special lady has spent numerous hours contacting members to get food needed.
A special “Thanks” goes to all of you. This includes the staff or our church.
- Helen Curran
Food Bank
Thank you for your generous giving to the Food Bank. We wrapped up the campaign in February with $125.00 of Dillons coupons for the Food Bank. Your concern and love for others has been shown in concrete gifts of food and coupons. The Food Bank will appreciate any food you continue to give at their location or in the basket in the foyer.
College Student Addresses
We would appreciate having addresses of your college students. Please call or leave a note in the church office.
Wanted: one Pack & Play or Play Yard in very good condition.
In the process of moving nursery items to the first floor, and to conserve space, we wonder if anyone would have a Pack & Play or Play Yard to donate to the new nursery room.
We do have a very nice crib which can be used; however, a piece of equipment which could be stored until needed would be helpful.
The Kids’ Mailboxes are now in the hall near the Courtyard doors. If you would like to leave notes, treats or compliments for our children, you may do so at any time. They will love it.
Red Pens
The new red pens in the Sanctuary were purchased with funds from the Louis LeRoy Memorial. You are encouraged to use them and give them to friends and neighbors!
