Installation of PW officers for 2009

Presbyterian Women Gather for Christmas Luncheon

On December 3rd Presbyterian Women enjoyed a gathering for their annual Christmas luncheon. A delicious meal was prepared by Kim Randall of Mixed Blessings for twenty-nine members and guests.

Women in Harmony, a musical group from the Great Bend Middle School under the direction of Andrea Gardner, presented a whimsical and humorous selection of Christmas music.

A recognition gift was presented to Helen Curran in appreciation for the many and varied responsibilities and tasks Helen has undertaken on behalf of Presbyterian Women. The certificate of recognition and a monetary gift to be used for Helen's charity of choice were presented by Phyllis Bosley.

A candlelight installation service for the following 2009 officers of PW was conducted by Libbie Olson:

Following the luncheon, members of PW delivered gifts to eleven shut-ins and signed Christmas cards to nine previous members now living out of town.
