First Presbyterian Church

A work day was held to assemble craft kits and trail mix baggies for Camp Edge, the five-church Vacation Bible School, to be held mornings on July 13 through 17 at the Trinity United Methodist Church.

During the week of July 13 to 17, a Vacation Bible School with the theme CAMP EDGE was held from 9:30 am until 12:00 p.m. at the Trinity United Methodist Church, located at Broadway and Patton Road.

Sponsored jointly by the Trinity United Methodist, First Methodist, King United Methodist, First Presbyterian, and First Congregational United Church of Christ, CAMP EDGE provided children between the ages of 4 years thru 6th grade with an extreme adventure into God's world.

Members of all five churches planned the daily lessons, drama, music and singing, recreation, craft, and snack times; and set the scene for a camping experience that discovered God everywhere.

Seventeen women of First Presbyterian helped with the planning and preparation for craft time each day and for the trail mix snack on Thursday.

Pastor Scott gave the Bible Study on Thursday.
